    Effective 12:01 a.m. Friday, August 31, The Town of Carbondale*, Garfield County, Pitkin County, the White River National Forest and BLM lands managed by Colorado River Valley Field Office in Eagle, Garfield and Pitkin counties will reduce fire restrictions from Stage II to Stage I. learn more »
  • Pitkin County Goes to Stage I Fire Restrictions

    By order of the Pitkin County Sheriff, effective Friday, August 31, 2018, at 12:01 p.m. all Stage II fire restrictions in Pitkin County are rescinded, and all lands in Pitkin County will revert back to Stage I fire restrictions.
