Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District is a diverse, dynamic, and growing all-hazards fire district in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley in Western Colorado.

We serve a 300-square-mile area that includes the Town of Carbondale in Garfield County, the historic village of Redstone in Pitkin County, and the mountain community of Marble in Gunnison County.

We serve over 16,000 residents and an additional 20,000 daily commuters  - responding to all types of calls from fire suppression to technical rescue to advanced life support EMS.
